Ghana’s Health Minister Tests Positive to Rampant Covid-19

Ghana’s Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu, has tested positive to Covid-19. The news about the Minister’s Covid-19 status broke on Saturday but with some initial hesitation, until the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, confirmed same when during his 11th update on Covid-19 to the nation on Sunday night, June 14, 2020 he wished the former speedy recovery.

Mr. Agyemang Manu who is currently responding to treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), has since, through a Facebook post, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the President and Ghanaians for their well wishes and prayers.
